**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT**

YESTERDAY, we announced an upcoming Hammer Films Blu-ray In May with Frankenstein and with Peter Cushing. Well, today we have yet another one! 1973's FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM HELL makes its Blu-ray debut in North America on May 19th 2020. YOU can PRE-ORDER HERE!

'Is Baron Frankenstein truly dead? That's precisely what he wants the world to think. He's had it up to here with a public that doesn't appreciate the trouble a mad scientist goes through to snatch good body parts. To carry on his work, he holes up in a place where the possibilities are utterly maddening: a home for the criminally insane! A hand here. • National street date for North America (Region A) is 5/19/2020

•This is being presented as a Collector’s Edition release and will come guaranteed with a slip-cover in its first three months of release.

• The newly commissioned artwork you see pictured comes to us from artist Mark Maddox (Dracula: Prince of Darkness, Frankenstein Created Woman). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will feature the
original theatrical artwork.

NEWS! CHRISTOPHER LEE PERSONAL SCRAPBOOKS DONATED TO THE BFI

NEWS: Released today is the interesting story that BFI has acquired 'never before seen' scrapbooks, that belonged to CHRISTOPHER LEE! The actor’s wife Lady Birgit Lee has donated THREE never-before-seen scrapbooks – which contain promotional shots, stills from films and annotations, and span from 1948 to 1972 – to the BFI archive, where they will be available to the public via its research access service at its Southbank location in London 😊 A very kind and considerate donation, let's hope the BFI honor their intentions 😉😉

NEWS: A TERRIFIC TRIO OF CYBERNAUTS ON BLU RAY IN GREAT NEWORK PACKAGE!

GREAT NEWS for THE AVENGERS and CYBERNAUT FANS! As we all know Peter Cushing starred in one episode of the THREE Cybernaut stories that were in the 'Avengers' and 'The New Avengers' series. 'The RETURN of the CYBERNAUTS' is included in this new, remastered blu ray set form Network.

HERE IS THE PRESS RELEASE DETAILS FROM NETWORK: A TRIO OF CYBERNAUTS! There isn’t much more one can say about 'The Avengers', the global and stylish television trailblazer it is (by any standards), but we do have something new to present with The Cybernauts Trilogy. We’ve selected three high-points from across the run for this special 2019 release: The Cybernauts, their 1965 robotic debut featuring Diana Rigg; the 1967 follow-up Return of the Cybernauts, again with Diana Rigg and Peter Cushing guesting in one of his most sinister roles; and, making its world High Definition debut, 'The New Avengers' 1976 finale 'The Last of the Cybernauts…??' . We’ve pulled the original film elements for all three episodes into the Network studio for brand new, painstaking, High Definition restorations, exclusively for this release. 

There’s much more to this release, though: as well as presenting the episodes in all their uncut, restored glory, we’re also presenting the option to watch each episode in its contemporary transmission context, with actual commercials in situ. NEWS: Scream Factory have announced they are putting out Hammer's 'Frankenstein Created Woman' on blu-ray! SCREAM say in their press release that 'It’s the year of Hammer Films for us as you can already tell and we have yet another one planned for the Summer. FRANKENSTEIN CREATED WOMAN (starring legendary star Peter Cushing) is being prepped in Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release!'

HERE ARE THE EARLY DETAILS we have at present time, there are no details to IF this will be a REMASTERED release.

• National street date for U.S. only (Region A) is June 11th.
• Release will come with a slipcover (guaranteed for three months after its original release date).
• The newly-commissioned artwork pictured comes to us from Mark Maddox (Dracula: Prince of Darkness). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will the original theatrical poster design.

NEWS: ANOTHER HAMMER FILMS BLU RAY RELEASE DUE FOR OCTOBER 2018!

NEWS : IT'S A GOOD TIME for any Peter Cushing and Hammer film fan looking to update their dvd collection some BLU RAY gems! Twilight Time has just revealed details of their new release of SWORD OF SHERWOOD FOREST (1960) Personally, my fav of the Hammer Robin Hood films, with Peter Cushing as The Sheriff of Nottingham, Richard Greene THE Robin Hood, Nigel Green as Little John and Oliver Reed As Lord Melton! Niall MacGinnis plays the best Friar Tuck, Richard Pascoas Edward Earl of Newark and Sarah Branch as Maid Marion. Directed by Terence Fisher, it makes for excellent Sunday afternoon viewing 🙂 Special Features include Alun Hoddinott's isolated Music track plus an effects Track too and the Original Theatrical Trailer! 

IT WILL BE INTERESTING to see if this print too will be like all the others, where Oliver Reed's voice is not heard; he's dubbed throughout by another (anonymous) actor attempting to sound like Reed's normal voice. Reed's own voice is heard in the film's trailer, where he adopts a very camp lisping French accent!
