Amicus films classic DR TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS is soon to enjoy a blu ray release on BOTH sides of the Atlantic. In Europe and the UK O.E.G. (Odeon Entertainment Group) are releasing their LIMITED EDITION of just 4,000 STEEL BOOK blu ray on OCTOBER 26th 2015. The STEEL BOOK commissioned artwork is by Graham Humphreys and extras include along with a new documentary on the film, directed by Jake West (Razor Blade Smile, Doghouse, Video Nasties) called House of Cards, and a recently filmed appreciation of the life and career of the late Sir Christopher Lee. This release is also is REGION FREE.

Also it is good news for our friends in the US, as Dr Terror's House Of Horror's gets a REGION A BLU RAY AND REGION 1 DVD  release from Olive Films. No word yet on special features, but we'll keep you posted. Olive Films is currently scheduled to released their Dr Terror's House of Horrors DVD/ BLU RAY package on October 27th 2015.

FIRST LOOK: DR TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS LIMITED EDITION STEEL BOOK BLU RAY

It's not released until September 21, 2015..but here's our first proper look at the Odeon Entertainment Dr Terror's House of Horrors (1965) Steel Book Blu ray packaging. Looks very nice indeed. With it's LIMITED numbered edition release of 4,000, with specially commissioned artwork by Graham Humphreys, the extras Include a brand new making of Dr Terror documentary by Nucleus Films and a recently filmed appreciation of the life and career of the late Sir Christopher Lee. It's available for PRE ORDER now….

Scanned at 4k by Pinewood Post Production and with newly commissioned Steel Book art by the renowned Graham Humphreys, this collector's version is limited to 4,000 individually numbered Steel Books. Dr Terror (Peter Cushing) is a mysterious fortune teller who boards a train and offers to tell fellow passengers (Christopher Lee, Roy Castle, Donald Sutherland) their fortune with tarot cards. Five possible futures unfold: an architect returns to his ancestral home to find a werewolf out for revenge; a huge flesh-eating vine takes over a house; a musician gets involved with voodoo; an art critic is pursued by a disembodied hand and a doctor discovers his new wife is a vampire. But they all end in the same result…..death. A fascinating and fast paced example of portmanteau film-making with a deadly twist in the tale.
