#MONSTERMONDAY: SPOILER!! This just postage at our facebook fan page: The House of Long Shadows met with mixed reviews when released back in 1983. One of the criticisms aim at it was, it was 'predictable'! It might have been many things, but I could see that personally...AND neither did I expect the hysterical barbs, Vincent Price and Christopher Lee's characters the at each other in the closing moments of the film! Wonderful! BTW, PART TWO of the Making of the House of the Long Shadows hits our website TOMORROW - Marcus

CONFIRMATION CUSHING ESTATE WAS INVOLVED WITH ROGUE ONE TARKIN

THE TELEGRAPH NEWSPAPER UK 16th December 2016: 

#STARWARS producer Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that the Cushing estate was involved in the CGI appearance of Peter Cushing in the film  #ROGUEONE. She has revealed in an interview with The Telegraph that the technology was full of "small, subtle adjustments – constant conversation and scrutiny". But Cushing's family only saw the final result at the London premiere of the film.

"WE WERE RIGHT DOWN to the wire,” she said. "And it never came down to one thing. If we tweaked one aspect, it threw something else off."

#TOOCOOLTUESDAY: HERE IS A VERY RARE PIC of the Cushing Family on hoilday, in BOGNOR, of all places! From the left: GEORGE Cushing, Peter Father, then NELLIE Peter's Mother. Next  ARTHUR Peter's Uncle, and Nellie's sister in law, WYN . An unnamed chap on the far right. At the front Peter's brother, DAVID on the left and a young smiling PETER on the right! The reverse side of this pic comes from a time when, a jobbing photographer would take your photograph at a sea-side resort, and process it on photographic paper that was also a postcard....so when you picked up your pic, you could write on the reverse side and post it off to your relatives and friends!

Sir Christopher Lee on playing the role of Count Dracula for the first time in 1958. I guess being part of a noble family, where tradition and responsibility can be a bit of a tie, especially if like the young Christopher Lee, you wanted to swim against the tide..and become an actor!
