Here are two shots of Peter shooting some 'back projection' shots for 'The Evil of Frankenstein' (1964) at Hammer Films Bray Studios. It's was quite a tricky process to pull off convincingly, matching lighting and motion were key. Alfred Hitchcock was probably 'the king of back projection' as he used so much of it in his films. Unfortunately, maybe because of time restrictions, the shots filmed here in 'Evil' aren't the best example of the technique.
