THE BARON BELLES! DING DONG! PICK YOUR FAVORITE!

#FrankensteinFriday! HERE IS A LITTLE something we did a long while ago...and is worth repeating with a new banner of pics at the FACEBOOK PCAS FAN PAGE.  In ALL the Peter Cushing Hammer Frankenstein movies, there HAD to be an actress who co starred. Back in the day, box office mattered more than gender equality and producer dictated that no matter if the supportive reason was the acting, star status, eye candy or two other sexist outstanding assets, the actress had to be IN. Whatever your reasons maybe, I would love to know WHO is your YOUR favorite Frankenstein actress who appeared in a Cushing Hammer Frankenstein film . . . phew!

A REMINDER OUR 'FRANKENSTEIN CREATED WOMAN' IS STILL LIVE AND YOU ARE WELCOME TO ENTER WITH YOU ENTRY AT THE FACEBOOK PCASUK FAN PAGE!

ABOVE I HAVE PROVIDED images, dedicated letters from A to F and the titles of the films. Feel free to give is your reasons and also a grading from A to F should you wish! Have a Fab #FrankensteinFriday, and hope you have fun 😉 - Marcus

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY: FRANKENSTEIN IN THE DOCK : DOUBLE BILL CLIPS AND GIFS

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY: One thing I have noticed in these Frankenstein films down the years.. you just can't stop a creepy character from peeping in through window! Just plain nosy I say! Here's Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee doing the peeping . .

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY: For those of us who have a top ten of Hammer Cushing scenes, this one would be in there for sure. In fact, any scene where Cushijg's Baron deflates the pompous is always a joy to watch. Here Victor Madden gets the pin treatment, as the Baron defends his friend and assistant, Hans from the guillotine . . Frankenstein's quick come backs and chill and great...but maybe not enough to save his friend...

HERE'S A BIT of a teaser for you... you see this photograph around Hammer film fan sites a lot... can you solve this puzzle. ANSWER later . .

OUR FEATURE WITH GALLERY ON FRANKENSTEIN
 CREATED WOMAN : CLICK HERE

PETER MADDEN co stars in 'Frankenstein Created Woman', and is an actor who rarely gets a mention these days. Back in the late 50's and 60's he was a popular choice of casting, for anything from police officers, teachers, hoteliers and 'the creepy one who lurks in the back, that you are not sure of!' He appeared in several film and tv shows along side or supporting Peter Cushing. The BBC Cushing Sherlock series, Dr Terrors House of Horrors, Brides of Dracula, Kiss of the Vampire, ... So, we are mentioning him here today, because  he is one of many we come across in our features...who deserves, to be remembered.....

Peter Madden featured in one of the lobby cards of Amicus films, Dr  Terror's House of Horrors.

Peter Madden (9 August 1904 – 24 February 1976) was a British actor who was born in Ipoh in the Federated Malay States (now Malaysia). Madden was a character actor who made several appearances in Hammer films and was a familiar face in British film and television during the 1950s and 1960s.

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY AND #FRIDAYNIGHTDILEMMA

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY: WE KICKED OFF this week's / morning's #FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY with this fine photograph of Peter Cushing taking a moment to reflect, on the set of 'Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell' (in production at Elstree studios from 18th September until 13th November 1973) I LOVE this photograph. I LOVE the film too. Maybe the lease popular of the Cushing / Hammer / Frankenstein series, with fans. Looking over the stats for this film when posted here on this page too, the performance is a little lack-luster too! I can never figure out why this film gets such a poor reception? Surely the WIG can't be that a huge problem it affects, the enjoyment of the film that badly? Maybe...someone can tell me why???

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY: The Evil of Frankenstein (1963) was Peter Cushing's only Frankenstein movie for Hammer films, that wasn't directed by Terence Fisher. There is no connection  to the previous Frankenstein Hammer films, The Revenge of Frankenstein'  A flashback creates a prior history that is wholly unrelated to the last Sangster Frankenstein script.  For the U.S. television release there were additional scenes added, on finding that the film was some 15 mins short of the average movie  time slot on US TV.. this would have an impact on the space available for TV advertisements!  The INSERTS featured characters that didn't appear in the original film and have no inter-action with the main characters. Patrick Horgan plays a reporter who questions a doctor (Steven Geray) about Baron Frankenstein. There are also scenes of the deaf-mute girl (Tracy Stratford) and her parents (Maria Palmer and William Phipps), none of whom ever appear in the film again.....!

A NEW WEEKLY feature for a Friday night.....#THEFRIDAYNIGHTDILEMMA. The perfect birthday gift for your Cushing Fan Friend. BUDGET £10 (US $6) - £25. (US $12) Suggestions PLEASE!

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY SNIFFING UP, SNUFFING OUT, SHUTTING UP AND A BIRTHDAY!

#FRANKENSTEINFRIDAY What a weirdly complicated man Frankenstein is... appreciating the delicate perfume of his button hole one moment...and snuffing out life the next! Peter Cushing as Baron Frankenstein 'The Revenge of Frankenstein' (Hammer Fisher 1958)

#‎Frankensteinfriday‬ Maybe the sharpest line of dialogue in any Hammer Frankenstein film. File this one under, 'Jaws drop /Verbal slapping!'

FINALLY PLEASE JOIN US,  in wishing DAVID WARNER a Very Happy Birthday Today! Warner's Cushing connection is the role of Edward Charlton (segment 1 "The Gate Crasher") in Amicus films 'From Beyond The Grave' in 1974. A great story, a fine performance...particularly enjoyed his play with Cushing in the Temptations Ltd store... but what a sticky end!
