Peter Cushing's recordings were originally recorded and published in the
UK by the Royal National Institute for the Blind in 1971.
#PETERCUSHING played #SherlockHolmes in the #Hammerfilms 1959 feature 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' with #ChristopherLee
and Andre Morrell as Dr Watson. He returned to the role for 16 episodes
in the BBC series Sherlock Holmes in 1968. His performance as Holmes
was as a senior and retired detective in 'The Masks of Death' a 1984
British made-for-television mystery film directed by Roy Ward Baker and
starring #PeterCushing as Sherlock Holmes and John Mills as Doctor Watson.
