I AM SURE, we have all seen the photograph of #PeterCushing and #ChristopherLee
standing in a doorway of the recording studio in Canterbury, when
leaving after the recording their narration of Ted Newsom's 'Flesh and
Blood' doc in 1994? It may well be the 'last photograph' .. but as we have seen
from the library of the PCASuk 'Last Meeting' clips of Peter and Lee
having great fun and telling stories.. a video camera was running the
whole time too.
HENCE AT THE TOP is a screen capture, after the doorway pic, of Lee walking Peter
to the car, that was taking him home to the Broughton household. In real
time, without posing or cameras, Christopher Lee said goodbye to Peter,
in private in the car park of the studio.... then Peter is helped into
the back of the car, wrestling with a brolly, they close the back
passenger door, and Peter waves smiling, through a misted up window . .
. In hindsight, you can see, it had to be that way, or neither of them
