PETER CUSHING at Book Signing 1986 : #PeterCushing was an actor who over the years, was fortunate enough to not only embrace opportunity of playing quite iconic lead characters in both film and television, but also entertain several generations of the viewing public, 1957 Frankenstein, 1960's he was BBC television Sherlock Holmes, 1970's #GrandMoffTarkin in 'Star Wars'... that a question like this was bound to happen! But, being the gentle man Peter Cushing, he had the perfect answer...!
BEFORE the days of green / blue / CGI back / front projection, there was the art of 'hanging a painted drape' quite often hard to spot by trained and skilled artists and matt painters, unless they WEREN'T skilled and trained artists ... this one falls between South of England Torquay and a dusty print that hung in my Aunty Mary's bathroom!
BUT in which #PeterCushing
film, did it hang.... in? It was actually quite convincing on screen!
And there by we must also acknowledge the 'black arts' of the lighting
cameraman . . I know of no ladies that did it.. So, name that film, if
you can! Answer is HERE over at the Facebook PCASuk Fan Page 😊 - Marcus
