This was a wonderful trip back down Memory Lane for me. I remember being allowed to skip school so that I could listen to and record this interview on my old beloved reel-to-reel tape recorder. Many years later I found myself working at the BBC and had access to a file concerning Peter's work on radio. It contained a brief handwritten note from Peter to Sue MacGregor, thanking her for her kindness during the interview. Thank you UKPCAS, for reprinting the interview here!!
