MR SMITH'S SON IS BACK FROM THE DEAD! HE IS VERY ANGRY AND NO DUMMY!

#MONSTERMONDAY! Asylum as most of you will know is a British Horror film, made in 1972, starring among many others, Peter Cushing, and Barry Morse. It is a horror anthology film, one of several produced by Amicus during the 1960's and 1970's.

Here Cushing and Morse star in a story entitled, 'THE WEIRD TAILOR' Here it is for your enjoyment! TRAVIA: Cushing Morse and their wives, Helen and Sydney were once traveling across London together in a double decker bus during the end of WW2...and were almost killed by a flying bomb....!

OUIJA BOARDS, ACID BATHS AND A BULLS EYE! ALL GIFS TODAY!

#GIMMETHEGIFWEDNESDAY: And so...for the last time in his cinema career Peter Cushing nails Count Dracula...unfortunately it was not Christopher Lee in this Hong Kong Kung Fu Hammer Films Mash Up, but as usual Peter Cushing gives it his all in the climax of The Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires (1974).... Btw, Dracula's make up wasn't the result of an over enthusiastic make up artist, but this Dracula was presented in the style of the traditional Oriental Theatre make up of the villain...just saying!

#GIMMETHEGIF : A warning from the grave for Peter Cushing's iconic Arthur Grimsdyke in 'Tales From The Crypt' probably number three or four in most people's TOP FIVE CUSHING FILMS... or is number one for you?

#GIMMETHEGIF: Vincent Price and Christopher Lee in 'Scream And Scream Again'.... Price plays Dr. Browning and Lee as Fremont, both doing a very good job in their roles, so all the more surprising when all three stars, Lee Price and Cushing admitted to not understanding a word of the script or the story...

#GIMMETHEGIFWEDNESDAY: TERRIFYING VAMPIRES, SINISTER MR SMITH AND CREEPY OL DONALD

#GIMMETHEGIFWEDNESDAY: Timmy Jenkins requested this superb gif of Andre Melly as Gina in Hammer films, THE BRIDES OF DRACULA (1960) Melly tops many Favorite Hammer Vampire lists. I have to admit, for a film made 56 years ago, it's a Peter Cushing film, that STILL gives chills . . .

You have a favorite shot, sequence, moment from a Peter Cushing film? Message us on our PCAS FACEBOOK FAN PAGE  or email us at petercushingappreciationsociety@gmail.com and gives us the details, and we'll post it here and our facebook page!

#GIMMETHEGIFWEDNESDAY : REQUESTED BY MORGAN PEMBERRY:  BEWARE the smartly dressed gentlemen, with the gold ring and solemn presence. Peter Cushing as the mysterious Mr Smith in Amicus films, ASYLUM . Maybe he isn't all he seems to be. All he wants is a new suit...but NOT for himself.....!

#GIMMETHEGIFWEDNESDAY: Tyler Henson thought the best story in the Amicus film, FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE  was without doubt story two, 'An Act of Kindness' with Donald and Angela Pleasence, and requested this amusing entrance of their characters, from the film. Creepy . . .

MORE ON CUSHING'S APPEARANCE IN FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE AND OTHER AMICUS FILMS FROM THAT ERA : CLICK RIGHT HERE!

PLEASE KEEP THOSE REQUESTS COMING: remember the clips that make the BEST gifs are ones without dialogue or music, all gifs are silent!

#MONSTERMONDAY: FREDDIE JONES SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA AND MONTAGE CLIP

#MONSTERMONDAY: Not probably someone who instantly comes to mind, when you think of 'monsters'... but he deserves the title alright... SPOILERS: Meet the brilliant, yet quite batty and lethal, Professor Julian Keeley (a delightfully dotty Freddie Jones) who appears briefly, yet ever so effectively. in the Lee and Cushing last Hammer Dracula film, The Satanic Rites of Dracula' (1973)

Keeley, friend of Cushing's Van Helsing, has been commissioned by Lee's Dracula (Mr D.D. Denham anyone?) and his dastardly Satanic cult made up of wealthy businessmen and powerful politicians, to create a virulent new strain of bubonic plague which could wipe out all mankind....and the carrier chosen for the taks being, Van Helsing's very own Grandaughter, Jessica Van Helsing (Joanna Lumley). He's quite dedicated! Mad as a bucket of frogs. He does evoke some sympathy at first, until to realise, death, decay, disease and doom, are his idea of a very good night out! Evil to the core... corrupted and terrified, sure but still A Monster...and that's why we have chosen him as this Monday's Monster! How does the Plague Propagating Professor rate in your Monster stakes? A Nice Guy Just Wacko OR MONSTER?
